好像在游牧民族中父亲死后，长子继承父亲留下的所有女人是一个习俗！

在汉唐两代，中原和亲的公主嫁给匈奴王之后，要是匈奴王死后，这些汉唐的公主也就自然而然地被匈奴王的继承人所继承。据史料记载，还有不少的汉唐公主再次为死去的匈奴王-大单于的儿子、一般是长子再次生育。
